Regional Sales Manager

Use your networks with engineers and consultants within the industrial market to build business and grow the company in this region.

A leader in its field on the global stage, this manufacturer of industrial flow control products and piping solutions, has had a presence in this region for through a distribution channel only. As part of their growth strategy in this region, they are now ready to appoint a strong sales manager to drive the business at primary demand level, with an initial focus on Melbourne and Sydney.

Working from a home office, you will play a pivotal role in driving specifications across the industrial market, using your consultative, solution based sales skills to forge influential relationships with consultants and engineers. You will be well supported from both the global business and a well established sister division. You will also have the opportunity to appoint an internal sales person immediately. As the business grows, so will your team.

We are looking for the following proven skill sets and background:

  • Knowledge of the industrial market segment
  • Flow control or allied product experience
  • Success in driving specifications through engineers and consultants both in the Melbourne and Sydney markets
  • The management skills to lead people and a business
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of your time to ensure good coverage of the market
  • Ability to work autonomously.
